CHAPTER 730 CORRECTIONS
Secure Residential Youth Care Facility Licensing Act.

The Illinois Department of Corrections shall establish a system of licensure for secure residential youth care facilities in accordance with this Act for the following purposes:

(1) Protection of the health, welfare, and safety of residents.

(2) Protection of the safety of the general public.
