815 ILCS 630/12

Violation of any of the provisions of this Act is an unlawful practice pursuant to Section 2 of the Deceptive Business Practices Act, as now or hereafter amended. All remedies, penalties and authority granted to the Attorney General or a State's Attorney by that Act shall be available to them for the enforcement of this Act. In any action brought by the Attorney General or a State's Attorney to enforce this Act, the court may order that persons who incurred actual damages be awarded the amount of actual damages assessed.
