820 ILCS 14/4: Powers of the Board.

The Board shall have jurisdiction over unfair work practices and collective bargaining matters between transportation network companies and transportation network driver organizations, except for the determinations to be made by the Department under this Act. The Board may contract with a neutral body to provide any of the data or information collection, storage, management, manipulation, analysis, certification, and election services required under this Act. Any such neutral body shall be subject to the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act and rules adopted under subsection (c) of Section 16. The Board may also contract for court reporting services for any of the hearings required under this Act. To the extent provided for in paragraph (28) of subsection (b) of Section 1-10 of the Illinois Procurement Code, contracts for a neutral body or for court reporting services under this Act shall be exempt from the Illinois Procurement Code.
