IC 10-18-1-1.6: Transfer of certain powers, duties, agreements, and liabilities to the department

Sec. 1.6. (a) On July 1, 2026, all powers, duties, agreements, and liabilities of the Indiana war memorials commission are transferred to the department.

(b) On July 1, 2026, all records and property of the Indiana war memorials commission, including appropriations and other funds under the control or supervision of the Indiana war memorials commission, are transferred to the department.

(c) After June 30, 2026, a reference to the Indiana war memorials commission in a statute, rule, or other document is considered a reference to the department.

(d) The rules adopted by the Indiana war memorials commission before July 1, 2026, are considered, after June 30, 2026, rules of the department.
