IC 16-18-2-366: "Vital statistics"

Sec. 366. "Vital statistics" includes the following:

(1) Factual data concerning births, deaths, and stillbirths and relevant personal, medical, and social data.

(2) The registration, preparation, transcription, collection, compilation, and preservation of that data.
