IC 20-19-12-8: Eligible entity duties

Sec. 8. An eligible entity that receives a grant under this chapter shall do the following:

(1) Allow students to explore, experience, and engage with a career coach.

(2) Apply information learned about the student through aptitude discerning tools and narrow career choices for students based on aptitude and personal interest surveys and other instruments.

(3) Provide salary ranges for potential fields of employment.

(4) Allocate adequate time to provide individual, personalized coaching for students with regard to:

(A) pathways to obtain information for desired potential occupations; and

(B) high school pathways regarding college preparation or a career, depending on each student's interest.

(5) Provide information to a parent of each student regarding recommendations for the student based on assessment results and other relevant data.
