IC 4-29.5-11-1: Effective date

Sec. 1. This Compact shall be effective immediately upon:

(1) Endorsement by the Tribal Chairperson and Tribal Secretary and concurrence in that endorsement by resolution of the Tribal Council;

(2) Endorsement by the Governor of the State and ratification by the State General Assembly as required by Indiana law;

(3) Approval by the Secretary of the Interior of the United States; and

(4) Publication in the Federal Register.
