IC 5-10-9.8-1: Definitions

Sec. 1. The following definitions apply throughout this chapter:

(1) "Board" refers to the board of trustees of the Indiana public retirement system.

(2) "Employer" means an employer of an employee that may receive a lump sum death benefit under a statute identified in section 2(a) of this chapter.

(3) "Fund" refers to the special death benefit fund established by section 2 of this chapter.
