IC 5-36.5-1-3: "State"

Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, "state" means:

(1) the state of Indiana;

(2) any department of the state of Indiana;

(3) any agency of the state of Indiana;

(4) any state or local court;

(5) the general assembly;

(6) any state of Indiana task force, committee, board, commission, or council;

(7) any body politic and corporate of the state of Indiana; or

(8) any other instrumentality of the state of Indiana.
