IC 9-18.5-1-1: Applicability of chapter

Sec. 1. This chapter applies to a person that:

(1) is the registered owner or lessee of a vehicle; or

(2) applies to register or renew the registration of a vehicle;

that is eligible to display a license plate under this article.
