K.S.A. 12-1228: Penalties as to library property authorized.

The governing body of a municipality maintaining a library shall have power to pass laws or ordinances imposing suitable penalties for the punishment of injury committed to library buildings or other property and for injury to or failure to return any book or other library material belonging to such library.
