K.S.A. 12-631j: Same; rules and regulations.

The governing body of a city shall have the power by ordinance, and the governing body of a township sewer district shall have power by resolution, to adopt rules and regulations providing for the management and operation of its sewage system, prohibiting the discharge of matter of deleterious to the proper operation of the treatment plant into the sewage system, requiring pretreatment of sewage in unusual cases to prevent overloading the treatment plant, fixing the service charges and methods of collection and providing for the disposition of the revenue therefrom.
