K.S.A. 12-873: Same; compliance with federal law and rules and regulations.

In fulfilling its duties herein authorized, the city or the authority shall do all things necessary to comply with the requirements of the federal natural gas act of 1938 and with rules and regulations of the federal power commission when applicable.
