K.S.A. 40-2,244: Competitive bid authorized with provider to establish, implement and maintain insurance verification system.

The commissioner may conduct a competitive bid and contract with a private service provider that has successfully implemented similar systems in other states to assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the insurance verification system.
