K.S.A. 40-2,250: Limitations on law enforcement to stop vehicle to establish compliance with insurance coverage.

Establishing compliance with the provisions of K.S.A. 40-3104, and amendments thereto, through the insurance verification system shall not be the primary cause for law enforcement to stop a vehicle.
