KRS 100.293: Official map authorized.

When all components of the comprehensive plan which are prescribed under this chapter

as a minimum for a planning unit and a public facilities improvement program have been

prepared and adopted, the commission and legislative bodies and fiscal courts of the cities

and counties shall have the power to prepare and adopt an official map regulation. The

regulation shall incorporate a map of the entire area under jurisdiction, but it may be

accomplished by parts in which case the first part shall be passed as th e original

regulation and all other parts shall be treated as amendments to the original regulation.
