KRS 146.080: Division of Conservation -- Components -- Functions.

There is hereby created, within the Department for Natural Resources in the Energy and

Environment Cabinet, a Division of Conservation. The division shall consist of a Soil and

Water Conservation Commission, a director, and such officers, employees, and ag ents as

the commission may deem necessary for carrying out the function of the division, through

the commission and the director, to assist soil and water conservation districts and

watershed conservancy districts organized under KRS Chapter 262 in carryin g out the

functions, powers, and duties conferred upon them by such chapter.
