KRS 156.138: Duty of Attorney General.

The Attorney General, upon the written recommendation of either the Governor, the

Auditor of Public Accounts, the chief state school officer, or the Kentucky Board of

Education, shall institute the necessary actions to recover school funds, from any source ,

which he believes have been erroneously or improperly allowed or paid to any person.
