KRS 16.090: Training school.

The commissioner is authorized to organize and maintain a training school or schools for

officers of the department, and in connection therewith to provide by administrative

regulation the course and conduct of such training and the period of time for whic h any

officer, or any applicant therefor, shall attend such school. The commissioner, under such

administrative regulations as he or she may promulgate, is further authorized, but shall

not be required, to make such training facilities available to any loc al governing unit

within this Commonwealth.
