KRS 16.160: Restrictions on discipline or removal -- Reduction of force.

No officer shall be suspended, reduced in rank or pay, or be discharged or dismissed,

except as provided in KRS 16.140 and 16.150, and with the further exception that when

insufficient funds require a reduction in expenditures, the officer or officers juni or in

point of service shall be first discharged.
