KRS 161.565: Reduction and pick-up of contributions by university faculty members.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of KRS Chapter 161, the contribution of university

faculty members may be reduced by amounts up to two and two hundred fifteen

thousandths percent (2.215%) if amounts sufficient to replace the reduction are

authorized and contributed to the Teachers' Retirement System by the board of regents of

the employing university. After August 1, 1982, any contribution by a university faculty

member shall be picked up by the employing university pursuant to KRS 161.540(2).
