KRS 164.260: Purchase or condemnation of property.

The board of trustees may acquire additional lands or other property or material under

KRS 45.750(1)(f) and 164A.575 for the purpose of expanding its plant and extending its

usefulness. When unable to contract with the owner of land or other property or ma terial

necessary for the purposes of the university, it may acquire the same by condemnation

proceedings in the manner provided in the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky.
