KRS 171.130: Department for Libraries and Archives -- Commissioner.

The Department for Libraries and Archives is established. The department shall be

headed by a commissioner whose title shall be state librarian who shall be appointed by

and serve at the pleasure of the Governor, and who shall have had technical training in the

field of library science.
