KRS 171.570: Extension of agency retention period.

The department may empower any state or local agency, upon the submission of evidence

of the need therefor, to retain records for a longer period than that specified in any

approved disposal schedule, or by law but the agency shall report all such actions to the

commission at its next meeting for approval or disapproval.
