KRS 175.420: Legislative intent.

This chapter is intended to supplement KRS 177.390 to 177.570 by providing an

additional and alternative method for the provision and financing of turnpikes and

appurtenant facilities to the end that such projects may be undertaken in such manner as

may best be calculated to expedite relief from hazardous and congested traffic conditions

on the highways in the Commonwealth and to provide acceptable avenues of commerce

and intercommunication by vehicular traffic among the several sections of the

Commonwealth.
