KRS 179.180: Engineer may lease or hire machinery.

With the approval of the fiscal court the county engineer may lease or hire stone crushers,

road rollers, traction engines and other road machinery. The expense thereof shall be paid

by the fiscal court as other such claims are paid by it out of the road f und for the repair

and improvement of the public roads of the county.
