KRS 181.530: Obligations of city in regard to the bridge.

In the contract the city may agree to transfer and assign to the person contracting with it,

any interest or right the city has in the bridge or portion, or any interest or right of the city

to acquire the bridge or portion, and shall agree to take over th e bridge when turned over

to it as provided in KRS 181.510, and thereafter to maintain and operate it as a free

bridge until it is taken over and maintained and operated by the state or an agency of the

state.
