KRS 186.680: Registration fees for portion of year.

If a person becomes the owner of a trailer, semitrailer, or recreational vehicle after April 1

of any year, and for that reason registers for only part of a year, the registration fee shall

be as many twelfths of the annual fee as there are unexpired month s in the registration

year.
