KRS 196.075: Probation and parole functions.

The department, under the direction of the commissioner, shall exercise the functions

vested in the department relating to probation and parole. The commissioner shall

promulgate administrative regulations governing parolees and shall have the same powers

of arrest as probation and parole officers.
