KRS 196.130: University to investigate lands that department wishes to acquire.

The University of Kentucky shall, at the request of the Department of Corrections,

examine and report on any land which the Department of Corrections wishes to

investigate with a view to purchase or lease, so that the Department of Corrections may

be fully advised as to the quality and character of the soil, water supply, sanitation, and

other agricultural and engineering problems. The university shall be entitled to receive its

necessary expenses in connection with the investigation.
