KRS 198B.726: Licensure or registration of home inspectors by agencies or political

subdivisions prohibited.

(1) As used in this section, "political subdivision" means any city, county, or

consolidated local government.

(2) No agency or political subdivision of th e state, other than the board, shall impose

the following on individuals licensed under KRS 198B.700 to 198B.738:

(a) A registration or licensing requirement; or

(b) A license fee to obtain any local license, except that this prohibition shall not

prevent any local government from imposing an occupational license tax on

any person operating as a home inspector within the jurisdiction of the local

government.
