KRS 216.2955: Submission of current or prospective employee to the child abuse and

neglect and adult abuse registries check by health facilities and Medicaid

providers -- Administrative regulations.

(1) Unless otherwise required by law, a health facility as defined in KRS 216B.015, or

a health care provider enrolled in the Kentucky Medicaid program, may submit a

current or prospective employee to a check of the:

(a) Child abuse and neglect; or

(b) Adult abuse;

registries maintained by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

(2) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall promulgate administrative

regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A as necessary to implement this

section.
