KRS 216.300: Definitions for KRS 216.300 to 216.308.

As used in KRS 216.300 to 216.308, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1) "Licensed health care professional" means a physician and surgeon, podiatrist,

osteopath, osteopathic physician and surgeon, physician assistant, nurse, dentist, or

pharmacist.

(2) "Suicide" means the act or instance of taking one's own life voluntarily and

intentionally.
