KRS 216.327: Qualifications of members.

The board of the district shall be composed of residents of the county or district from

which appointed. No person shall be appointed to the board of any hospital district who

has any financial or professional interest in the establishment or continued exi stence

thereof or who is a member of the governing body or an officer or an employee of a

municipality or county within the district except that previous membership on any

existing hospital board shall not preclude a person's appointment to the board of a

hospital district.
