KRS 216.937: Management and employment prohibition for home health agency.

Home health agencies shall not be operated by or employ any person who is listed on the

expanded or modified nurse aide abuse registry as permitted by 42 C.F.R. 483.156. The

expanded or modified nurse aide abuse registry shall be checked prior to the emplo yment

of a home health aide by home health agencies. The home health agency shall document

the check of the expanded or modified nurse aide abuse registry for each prospective

home health aide.
