KRS 224.43-352: Notice to local governments of solid waste disposal facility's violation of

permit.

Within seven (7) days of issuing a notice of violation to a contained landfill operating as a

municipal solid waste disposal facility as defined in KRS 224.1 -010 for noncompliance

with a condition of its permit issued by the Division of Waste Management where the

noncompliance has off -site impacts, the cabinet shall send a copy of the notice of

violation to the county/judge executive of the county or the chief executive officer of the

urban-county government within which the contained landfill is located.
