KRS 237.124: Program for training applicants for concealed deadly weapon license.

(1) The Department of Criminal Justice Training shall operate a program for the

training of applicants for a concealed deadly weapon license. Only the General

Assembly may eliminate the training program for applicants for a concealed deadly

weapon license.

(2) Training pursuant to this section shall be conducted by a firearms instructor trainer

or certified firearms instructor in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and

administrative regulations promulgated thereunder.
