KRS 260.033: Hay grading program.

(1) The Department of Agriculture shall promote the sale of hay produced in the state

by administering a standard grading program for evaluating hay quality.

(2) The department shall, after consultation with the University of Kentucky College of

Agriculture and associations actively involved in promoting the sale of hay within

the state, promulgate administrative regulations establishing quality standards and

procedures for grading hay, and shall promote the sale of hay produced by

participants in the department's standard grading program.
