KRS 261.320: Selection of veterinarian.

If the owner or operator of any licensed stockyard in this state is required by law or shall

have any reason to utilize the services of a veterinarian, the veterinarian shall be chosen

by the owner or operator of the stockyards, and may be relieved of his duties at the

pleasure of the owner or operator. Any veterinarian so employed shall be licensed by the

Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners and accredited by the United States Department

of Agriculture.
