KRS 281.624: Household goods carriers -- Administrative regulations.

The department shall promulgate administrative regulations pursuant to KRS Chapter

13A to establish requirements and to set forth standards for household goods carriers,

including but not limited to the:

(1) Determination of weights;

(2) Establishment of rates for accessorial services;

(3) Types of discounts prohibited;

(4) Prohibition against a carrier acting as an agent for another carrier;

(5) Insurance provisions;

(6) Information required on a receipt or bill of lading;

(7) Information required on a freight bill;

(8) Liability of carriers;

(9) Estimation of charges;

(10) Absorption or advancement of dock charges;

(11) Information for prospective shippers;

(12) Minimum weight shipments; and

(13) Filing of tariffs.
