KRS 281.775: Investigations and inquiries.

The department may conduct any investigation, inquiry, or hearing that it may deem

proper in connection with the performance of its duties under this chapter with respect to

motor carriers. The investigation and inquiry may be conducted by or before the

commissioner or any of his assistants or any representative of the department designated

by the commissioner. Any hearing shall be conducted in accordance with KRS 281.640.
