    evidence.

    (1) Upon the request of any person and payment of the applicable fee, the

    commissioner shall furnish a certified copy of any record or document in the

    department which is then subject to public inspection, as provided in subsection (3)

    of KRS 304.2-150.

    (2) Reproductions of records or documents on file in the department, when duly

    certified by the commissioner, shall be received in evidence in all proceedings and

    courts equally and in like manner as if they were the originals, and shall have the

    same effect and force as such originals, as in other cases provided by law or rule of

    court.
