KRS 304.20-043: Cancellation of policy held by state employee prohibited, when --

Exception.

No insurer shall cancel, refuse to renew, or increase the premium on an automobile

insurance policy on an automobile owned by an insured who is employed by the

Commonwealth of Kentucky because of an accident which occurred while the insured

was acting in the scope and course of his employment as a state employee and was

operating a motor vehicle owned by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, except in the case

of a driver who has a pattern of conduct exhibiting a disregard for the traffic laws of the

Commonwealth of Kentucky.
