Whenever any licensed company writing blanket bonds on banks or credit unions in the

Commonwealth intends to cancel, terminate or not renew the bond of any bank or credit

union, it shall notify the Department of Financial Institutions of its intention to cancel,

terminate or not renew any such bond not less than thirty (30) days prior to the effective

date of such action.
