KRS 304.24-070: Completion of incorporation -- General powers and duties.

The incorporation of an insurer shall be effective as of the date of issuance by the

Secretary of State of its articles of incorporation; and thereupon the corporation shall be

vested with all the powers, rights and privileges, and be subject to all the duties, liabilities

and restrictions applicable to insurer corporations; subject, however, to qualification and

application for, and issuance to the corporation of, a certificate of authority as an insurer

by the commissioner under the provisions of this code.
