KRS 304.32-020: Purpose and interpretation.

(1) It is the purpose of this subtitle to regulate in the public's interest the formation and

operation of prepaid health care service organizations, in order that such services

may be made available upon a basis of fair and equitable contracts through state

licensed nonprofit organizations meeting reasonable standards as to administration,

reserves and financial soundness.

(2) The provisions of this subtitle shall be liberally interpreted to effectuate the purpose

hereinabove declared.
