KRS 304.50-080: Appointment of Secretary of State as attorney to receive legal process.

A workers' compensation self -insured group issued a certificate of filing under this

subtitle is deemed to have appointed the Secretary of State as its attorney to receive

service of legal process issued against it in Kentucky. This appointment shall be

irrevocable, shall bind any successor in interest, and shall remain in effect as long as the

self-insured group has workers' compensation exposures in this Commonwealth.
