KRS 304.53-010: Allowable types of paid family leave insurance -- Application of

provisions.

Paid family leave insurance:

(1) May be:

(a) Included in a group disability income insurance policy or contract purchased

by an employer;

(b) Offered as a rider, amen dment, or supplemental policy provision to a group

disability income insurance policy or contract purchased by an employer; or

(c) Offered as a stand -alone group paid family leave insurance policy or contract

purchased by an employer; and

(2) Shall be subj ect to KRS 304.14 -120 and any other requirements for group health

insurance under this chapter unless:

(a) Paid family leave insurance is expressly exempted from the requirements; or

(b) The requirements are in conflict with this subtitle.
