KRS 324A.054: Limitations on actions against certified or licensed real property

appraiser or appraisal management company.

Notwithstanding any statutory provision to the contrary:

(1) An action for damages, whether brought in contract or tort, or on any other basis,

against a certified or licensed real property appraiser or appraisal management

company shall be brought within one (1) year after the date the appraisal report has

been completed and transmitted to the client;

(2) An action for fraud or knowi ng and intentional misrepresentation brought against a

certified or licensed real property appraiser or appraisal management company shall

be brought within five (5) years; and

(3) An action for a discriminatory housing practice brought against a certified or

licensed real property appraiser or appraisal management company shall be brought

no later than one (1) year after occurrence or within the time provided by federal

law.
