KRS 327.005: Legislative Findings.

The General Assembly finds and declares that:

(1) The practice of physical therapy should be regulated and controlled by this chapter

and administrative regulations promulgated thereunder in order to protect and

safeguard the health and safety of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;

and

(2) Each individual licensed or privileged under this chapter shall be responsible and

accountable for making decisions that are based upon the individual's educational

preparation and experience in physical therapy and shall practice physical therapy

with reasonable skill and safety.
